Over the past 12 days, we shared quick tips to help you prep for the holidays without the stress. From setting business hours to letting Sona handle the rush, we covered the settings that’ll keep things running smoothly during the season.

But here’s the thing: the little things matter.

Your customers notice the hold music. How quickly you remember their last conversation. Whether your greeting sounds like a real person or a robot from 1995.

For day 12, we wanted to do something different. Instead of another tip, we’re giving you five more features.

5 small, highly requested improvements

  1. Never lose track of important conversations: You can now pin up to 50 conversations (up from 5). Keep your VIP clients, that big deal, and the vendor issue that needs attention today right at the top.
  2. Fix mistakes without the workaround: Spot a typo in your notes? Need to update internal thread details? Edit internal threads right from your browser or desktop, just like you already can on mobile.
  3. Hold music that matches your vibe: We added a more relaxing hold music option for those whose brand isn’t “energetic bop.” Or upload your own track and let your personality shine through when customers are on hold.*

*Must follow terms of service. Yes, we’re looking at you, Swifties.
  4. Greetings that sound human: Our new text-to-speech voices sound like a real person. Your boutique business shouldn’t sound like a corporate call center from 2003. Available for voicemail, phone menu, and play audio greetings in the call flow builder.
  5. Plan ahead, stress less: Schedule your holiday call flows in advance. Set your December 24th hours now. Queue your back-to-business flow for January 2nd. One less thing on your mind during the chaos.
