Call log template: automatically track your call history

Overview

Use this call log template to maintain consistent call tracking, identify recurring trends, and surface common issues and opportunities. Plus, track action items and make sure your team gets them done.

This template helps your team stay on top of your important tasks on a weekly basis. It works on top of recorded and transcribed calls in your Quo workspace. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to enable automatic call recordings and call transcripts.

Here’s how it works:

• Reviews transcribed calls and messages in your Quo workspace from the past seven days.
• Identifies action items based on priority:
  • P1 - act now
  • P2 - follow up
  • P3 - keep in view
• Focuses on customer requests, risks, opportunities, commitments, recurring friction, and useful relationship context.

Note: This template doesn’t cover every single call handled in your workspace, simply the ones worth surfacing for follow-up. That way, your team isn’t overwhelmed with reviewing spam calls or internal updates. If you still want to analyze your entire call history, export your calls from the Analytics dashboard.

This call log template uses Quo and your preferred AI tool, Claude or ChatGPT, working together. Claude generates this template by executing a series of preset custom instructions known as skills. It automatically creates a call log template using your Quo call data and generates a report.

How to use with Claude

First, add this Claude skill to your account:

1. Connect Quo and Claude.
2. Click the Download template file button.
3. Go to Customize > Skills > Add > Upload skill in your Claude account.

Finally, run the skill by entering the prompt: Run /quo-conversation-insight-log on the Quo number [ENTER PHONE NUMBER]

Bonus: Once you add this skill and test it out for yourself, you can tweak it to your needs. Simply tell Claude what changes you’d like to make to the skill and it will save them for you.

How to use with ChatGPT
